Self-Leveling Ultra Sealant

Dicor’s Self-Leveling Ultra Sealant is a high-performance polyether sealant that contains no solvents or isocyanates and is non-yellowing. It is designed to fill voids and joints and seal around RV rooftop accessories where a self-leveling sealant maybe preferred. Ultra Sealant is fast curing, highly weather resistant and can be painted with most paints.  

Polypropylene RV roof accessories and some membranes MUST be primed with Dicor Ultra Sealant Primer prior to resealing.

Without Primer: PVC, Dicor Signature Silicone Coating, Aluminum, Brass, Steel, Fiberglass, SMC, ABS, Kynar, Galvalume, painted surfaces, vinyl, glass, granite, marble and wood.  

Requires Primer: TPO, EPDM, Polypropylene Plastics  

Ultra Sealant and Ultra Sealant Primer may not be used on plastics under stress. Please use Dicor’s 501 or 551 lap sealant for plastics such as polycarbonate.   

Surface Preparation: Prior to application, clean surface of all dirt, loose paint, rust, oil and grease. Allow surface to dry before applying sealant. Use standard caulking equipment to apply sealant. Apply above 40°F.  

Priming: To ensure a tong-lasting bond and weatherproof bond, Dicor Ultra Sealant Primer is REQUIRED when sealing on TPO and EPDM Rubber roof membranes and also REQUIRED on any polypropylene plastic rooftop accessories. Do not prime polycarbonate plastic accessories, such as polycarbonate skylights.

Directions for use:

Once all primed areas have dried, using a standard caulking or air gun, promptly apply a bead of Dicor Ultra Sealant. At 77° with 50% relative humidity skin time is 30 min., tack free in less than 1 hr. and dry in 2 hrs. May take several days to fully cure. Formulated for 1/4″ and 3/8″ bead.

Approximate Lap Sealant Cure Times: (approximate times for 50-70° F weather)

30 Minutes – Skins over
< 1 hour – Tack Free
2 hours – Dry
Several Days – 100% Cure

Ultra sealant is UV stabilized to prevent deterioration and discoloration. Plus, it will not stain or discolor any roofing material to which it is applied.

The Ultra sealant is available in white.
